Medical Reimbursements of America (MRA) announces the promotion of Account Management leader Steve Hansen to Vice President of Business Development. MRA is an innovator in specialty reimbursement services for hospital revenue cycle departments, having been a lead architect in how complex motor vehicle and work comp medical claims are optimally managed. Steve Hansen has been deeply entrenched in the organization’s customer-driven culture for more than 6  years.

“Steve has been instrumental in laying the foundation for our customer’s on-going success with MRA,” noted Chief Development Officer Michael Ford. “He is an extremely detailed project manager with an unwavering commitment to exceeding customer expectations. His proven track-record in doing so makes him an ideal person to shepherd prospects through important decisions regarding this complex, but high impact, specialty reimbursement class.”

Hansen began his career at MRA designing and orchestrating the company’s robust onboard process for customers that ensures compliant, accurate and swift adjudication of auto and work comp medical claims. His focus has been on creating an efficient process that minimizes disruption to the customer’s operations and ushers in best business practices. During his tenure, Hansen has managed the implementation of more than 125 hospitals. In his new role, he will be engaging with hospitals across the Southeast to help solve their challenges within specialty reimbursement areas and to deliver focused results.

“I am passionate about inspiring and motivating people to achieve extraordinary results,” said Hansen. “Aligning resources and tools to solve complex business processes is something I am proud to do. And, knowing that what we do can make a huge impact for patients, hospitals, and the communities they serve is precisely why I chose a career in healthcare and why I am proud to be at MRA.”
